In another life I was here

Another age, strange, yet vaguely familiar

Half remembered days,

of nightmares trying to take shape

That once nearly swallowed me whole

Loneliness revisited

Those days have gone 

But still keep knocking 

Like the unwelcome visitor 

popping up unexpectedly at New Year

But you try not to hear

And you think of today

Loneliness gone, happiness regained

So hard to stay away, to obliterate from one's memory .. but seems there is only one answer .. to regain happiness.. however painful.
