Dad please hold my handA Poem by Bianka Tanoria child who see's the painDad please hold my hand for I have so much to learn, Don't walk so fast Dad, for my little legs can't keep up. Dad, stay a while longer so you can teach me to catch a ball. Dad, put down the phone and tell me about when you were a kid. Dad, you don't understand I am still little and want to be like you, but you are walking too fast. Dad, I don't like it when you keep saying you will be home and you don't show up. Dad, I don't like it when you make mom cry. Dad, I always wanted to be like you until I noticed that you didn't care that I couldn't catch up to you. My little feet will not always be little and my little hands will not always be small, but I know Dad that you will miss them when you finally realize I was watching you all along.
