Mamma is Here

Mamma is Here

A Poem by Mirza Mehak
"

At the time of strength in despair

"
What do you see? a blur or a vision,
your life ahead or just the tree.
As you stare out the train window
what do you see my little lady.

The bend of your lip-line ready to cry
The eyes full of thoughts, but why so dry

To make your world back apiece,
what can I do? talk to me please.
you want to know all right through
or just a mom's tight cuddle would do?

Just for you my sweet love
I swear in the marriage I would have stayed.
But trust me dear there wasn't a hope
there wasn't a chance of amends to be made

I know you are looking away
coz you will tear up if you glance my way
I know in all the numbing pain you feel,
you still don't want my knees to kneel

From where you get this strength today,
as we stand on lowest low
Such strength, such calm that
even wisdom of years cant bestow

You do not deserve this tough time
you so young you so naive,
but yet you teach me as you breath slow
“keep the heart beating..
tomorrow may be better .. you never know”

Just look at me once
 shed a tear
cry like a baby
and make me hear

make me hear
of my sins if you feel

make me feel
you love me still

make me smell
your slow breath

make me touch
hug my chest

make me see
what you see
give me your tears
I will shed for thee

Don't grow up Oh so soon
Don't grow up Oh so soon!

Mamma is here
it's time for school........

The above words are true wisdom. Don't rush adulthood. Ain't as fun as you believe. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

we look to our parents for guidance, and sometimes what they do confuses us, so we are not sure exactly how to act---growing up is about understanding and forgiveness...and there are many kinds of tears to go along with it.
