A day never to be forgotten

A day never to be forgotten

A Poem by Brook Hughes
"

My first car accident. Most of you have probably already been there.

"

Help.... he isn't breathing

Get in the vehicle

It'll be okay when we get to the hospital

90mph on the way

Look back.... sharp corner.

Patch of ice.... Swerve

Oh s**t!

Hit the breaks hit the breaks!!!!

No!

7 total rolls

Landed on the side of the vehicle

Open my eyes

Blood everywhere

Screams in the background

Everything goes black and feels like its playing in slow motion

Wake up in the ambulance stare out the window

At the vehicle and the person that tried helping me

But almost cost me my life.

"Everything is going to be fine."

I can feel the panic
I can feel the adrenalin rush
I can feel the impact
I can hear the screams
I can sense the feeling of being all alone for that instant...

"Everything is going to be fine"

Brilliantly executed....
