Flashbacks of the blood on the windowshield

Flashbacks of the lives that were lost

Flashbacks of you crying, shooting yourself

You lying in a hospital bed

Images of you lying in your coffin

Looking so lifeless... so dead

Images of me crying myself to sleep

Images of me hurting myself

Images of me losing control

Visions of me jumping off a bridge

Visions of my body being discovered

Visions of me lifeless

Visions of me dead.

I'm finally free!

What a poem about a loss that affects the main character so much that they can vision their own end and in that they find peace. One can only wish that time finds a way to replace this lost with love and the will to live. Great write.
