To Life Again?

With each drop of rain

That falls on my arid skin.

My body shivers,

More than ever in this cold.

I feel numb and stun,

Empty like a haunted crypt.

Without sensation,

I beg for an easy death

To rest in peace forever.

Thanks for the author's note, I learned something this day.

When we only feel the downpour in every moment of our lives, isn't it better to rest in peace forever? To some, it is believed that there's a life after death. Ours today is just temporary, so isn't it better if we face death so that we'll face the real life? In there, there would be no sadness, rain, tears, and pain....
