†† The Evanescent screams ††

† Preface †

With full audacity my body tried,

Harder than it could,

To cross the mountain that separates you and me.

But then I fell,

And I bleed.

My mortal body cried with pain…

But this regretful heart,

It still kept on hoping…

That may be somehow, someday,

I will get over with this pain,

And will meet you once again…

This poem depicts your braveness about how you'll keep on hoping and fight for a love that makes you bleed in pain. In this despair and regret of not attaining what you sought somehow reflect the last lines of your poem...You know you're left to mourn but you're still keeping the faith that one day your lost love will be back...And I also know how harder we may try, our remorseful heart take a lot, really a lot of times to get over the pain inflicted on us...
Beautifully penned.

Then this won't be an evanescent dream, for you are hoping to see her again. I am glad, you wrote this. I like that.

Yes.....you will......and you should.....if your pain is true....
and your longing is selfless......
everybody is in some sort of search.....and pain itself act as a catalyst for the search......in that sense.....pain is a boon......
or we will forget to search...

I really love how you incorporated the mountain into this piece. It adds much more meaning and, all in all, adds a new level of understanding to the audience. From that, I can tell how you feeling to general extent.
"To cross the mountain that separates you and me."
Very well written.. reading on!
