Another poem I'm wasting on you...

Another poem I'm wasting on you...

A Poem by Bhavya Kaushik

...

Another poem I’m wasting on you…

Your memories scream as I burn myself with this flame,

Entire eternity stood in silence when you left me in pain.

No place left for my sorrow and ache to hide,

As only your hate and your tears covered me wide.

I gave you myself and my own life when I saw you cry,

I thought you would love me but you asked me to die.

Half broken and half betrayed I made my own way,

But I intend to stay for all the wrong deeds I need to pay.

I finally died while burning with your sorrow and pain,

As I know, now you won’t hurt me again…

Author's Note

Bhavya Kaushik
I guess now all of my readers must be aware of the fact that there's just one person to whom I usually dedicate my poems and this one adds on in the list, but the only difference here is in the end I guess... :$
But as such, this ones just one more poem which I'm wasting on her!
Lolz!!!!

Bhavya dear, I'm going so insane after reading it. I know that there is just person who intentionally or unintentionally have changed your entire life and now you are broken with the way your relationship have turned up. I'm very sorry for that but if writing poems for her helps you, then please keep on writing about her.
But if it hurts you, then you know my answer. You are a sweetheart and I adore you for your honesty.
I don't know too much about this girl but right now I just want to snatch her from entire world to gift to you.
You are writing sadness and pain and I bet no one here at cafe can write better than you on this.

This piece says so much to me, and I'm pretty sure means a whole lot to you. Extremely well written, and, filled with the sincerity of a lost love, or a painful one. Work such as this, make me think about how much people truly hurt from the pain let of from past or present lovers. Whether it's simply missing your one true love, or losing your only love. Anyway, great piece. Great read. Fantastic emotion in this piece. /

Keep writin!

You're not wasting your words Bhavya.
You already know that these words will not give you back what is gone from your life. In that respect you may feel that your words have gone waste for YOU.
But not for your readers.
These words are priceless. These are words that have been written with such sincerity and honesty that few have for their beloved. It is hard to find such dedication. That is in fact, the very reason your wound will never heal.

Yes, I like the ending but some wounds are so deep that nothing hurts after that. The departure of some people leaves behind such deep imprints that no one and nothing that steps on it can leave a deeper mark.

I like all of it, except the title but the title is what makes the poem so unique.

I cannot recall if I have told you earlier or not but one thing that I find truly remarkable about your work is the fact that almost of it is based on the same subject, about the same person, on the same feeling and yet each time you take us through your emotions, its a new journey altogether. It is very difficult to find new ways to display the same theme, to present something from a novel perspective, each time. But somehow you manage to do it; perhaps, effortlessly.

You are such a gifted person. I'm glad I came across your writingsthere's so much to learn from you.

Like Emily said, no poem is wasted until it is meantfelt. This poem is "yours" and have your emotions in it.
It doens't matter whether she will read it or not but it is justifying your part.
Poem is sad and beautiful. You know how to write sadness with beauty.

No poem is wasted. No flower. No sky. Not when it is meant--felt.

Exquisite in its portrayal of your heart.

There are very rare people whom I know who can write so tremendously well, you are one of them.
This is heart breakingly beautiful.
