Without any destination,

Without any end,

I’m walking through this life.

 

With broken dreams,

With a bleeding heart,

With frozen tears…

 

I have been lost away!

 

Darkness consumes me,

And with every second,

I’m dying all over again… and again!

 

Without any thought,

Without a word,

Without my soul…

 

I have been lost away!

 

Betrayed by destiny,

Forgotten by the entire world,

I’m alone...all along!

 

Without any sound,

Without any aim,

And without you…

 

I have been lost away!

 

Lost not only from this world,

Not only from outside,

But…Lost within!

what a heartfelt write...to be lost and without a meaningful place or aim, is a sad thing indeed. to lose oneself and the one you love.... leaving an empty place, not just in the heart but in the soul as well.

this write pulled at my heart and soul. i could feel the sadness, the emptiness, the aimless movements of a life truly lost.

Bhavya, you've managed to pull me in again my friend.. and toy with my emotions. This is a dark and painful write. To be lost within, is really quite terrifying, but so many of us are. To find thyself, is to find purpose and light and love.

Having gone through this very moving piece, brilliant is the word that first comes to mind.

The last stanza is definitely my favorite.

It is ironic how some experiences take the life out of you and when you put down your experiences in words, it adds life to those words.

Often I feel the same way and for that reason only I have created this contest to read more poems with which I could relate myself.
I agree this is really the worst thing in life, to be lost not only from outside but lost within, within your soul and within your heart. To be lost in every thought and with every breathe.
To carry on without any destination or aim but with emptiness and eternal darkness.
I also liked these lines too-

Being lost in not at all better to die I feel and your poem has conveyed that feel in an exceptionally well way!
