Because...He was dead!

Because...He was dead!

A Poem by Bhavya Kaushik
"

Acrostic

"

BECAUSE… HE WAS DEAD !!!

Blood was dropping from his wrist in vain,

Even the entire floor now turned to red.

Consciously he was facing that inevitable pain,

Addiction for love forced him close to death.

Unwritten was his destiny and dark was his fate,

Speechlessly he stood but he doesn't have any regret.

Echoes of his past but were asking him to wait!!!

He was just holding a razor blade in his hands,

Edge of which was cutting one of his blood veins.

Without soul, without words and now without life he laid,

Apologies or prayers now can't bring him back.

Suicide he had committed as by her, he was already declared dead!

Dead is he now and silently resting in his grave,

Even for whom he gave his life is living with no pain.

Alas! This is not the way true love should end,

Dark end of love like this may never happen with anyone again….

Author's Note

Bhavya Kaushik
Well..this writing basically focuses on teenage suicides...Suicide is the third leading cause of death in people between the ages of 15 and 20 after motor vehicle accidents and homicides... And heartache is I guess one of the leading factor behind that! So....here it is.....!
Often I've heard people saying that "Suicide is my way to tell god that you can't fire me...coz' I myself quit"
No! It isn't like that....we only have one life to live and thus only life to love! so...be what you are and if you gets a breakup! then...move ahead, this is what life is all about..

okay! I can talk the entire day about it! :D :D

Bhavya! OH MY!
This is astoundingly creative,
and tragic!
A horrific view at the result
of some's heartbreak which they
don't believe they can continue to
endure.

I have seen this happen first hand
within my own family walls and it
is as real as you have painted it
here with your words.

We need to understand, the other
person will continue on, yet a life
was wasted. If they would just hang
on to hope a little longer.... never
give up. Ever. Such sadness... tragedy :(

You have incredible talent my friend.... !
Excellent writing!

Bhavya... Many voices are speaking to me as I read this one... Initially, the reaction prays for your well-being; then,
another voice taps my shoulder and reminds me that you are an artist with much talent as is evident after feeling
the tragedy above... I read the note, too... I believe (me) that God is still in control even after death...
In life, we have 'some' control, but in death? Who knows what happens except those who have died? Who knows
the price for occupancy of the shell we borrow for a while? Our destiny resides in the poetry that we write
as we attempt to make some sense of this life...this World... this galaxy...and others....

On one level I can understand the inability to move on after heartbreak, but there are so many people out there...
Time and Destiny bring them to us eventually...hopefully...

Or does love have a dark end?

Your description is quite vivid and thought-provoking, but there exists no triumph in tragedy. It is what it is.
I hope your work helps teenagers to fear death, and not see it as peace because we don't really know, eh?

there is truth in what you say in this write, Bhavya....suicide is never the answer and to me. it is a coward's way out. life is the the most percious thing you have and if you choose to end your life, you are not going to see what the future hold. life is a journey, it is not so important the destination, but how you get there.

i understand about broken hearts, but the other person will not see the pain that was caused and death will only be remembered for a short time...everyone moves on with out the dead one and that is a waste of life.

nice job as usual, dear.

much love,

Amanda

Okay, I've been writing this review for the third time. I can't figure out what to say. So I would say that this is a good creation of art, and an stand out in an accoustic contest. But it's also very depressing and heart venching and um....

Well, I'll say the rest in a private message.

All in all, is a wonderful creation, keep writing.

WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS POEM AT HOME.

As usual Bavhya, your writing is full of emotions .... these ones are really sad. Your poem is so well written and the accrostic is excellent. Keep up with your talent and gift of the heart!

First, I want to comment on both the pics, they are not directly linked with the writing but still are looking so perfect for it and the font too like always is just too good.
The poem is tragic and sad. I agree with my friend Dani that yes, It is "astoundingly creative "
Suicide is the most tragic end of anyone's heartache and even you have written the same in the poem that dark end like this may never happen with anyone again.

I guess there is an entire story in this poem, The way you started with the scene where blood was dropping from his wrist and then turned him into grave (i.e. declared him dead) You also gave a reason for his suicide, Since he was already declared dead by her love. Really, Dark end of love should not happen with anyone else.

This reminded me of one of my cousin's friend who had also committed suicide and the way the entire event brought sadness in his family as he was the only child. The acrostic style is going so well that I didn't even realized that I'm reading a acrostic!

Yes, it is very tragic how teenagers ends up with suicide after a heartache. But instead of that they should understand that this is not the end of life. The poem has been quoted remarkably beautiful!
Very tragic but beautiful too.
