Destiny is Predetermined in This Physically Finite World

Destiny is Predetermined in This Physically Finite World

A Poem by BrittBratBroski

Scars

We all have them

We all leave them

Either burned by intense passion

Or by getting stabbed repeatedly in the back

We are all but mere puppets

Getting our strings pulled by

The Supreme Being or the Lowly Devil

It is hard to tell which hurts more

The pain of loving and losing

Or the pain of never having loved at all

“The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our stars,

but in ourselves if we are underlings.”

Our stars are destined to tell a story

That stays untold and silent.

Sometimes the scar that we lay

Is the legacy that is ensured by our stars.

For our stars have no feeling or consciousness.

They are however determined by the One called Jehovah.

Who was and is and yet to come

Says the stars.
