Connected

There's a place in my heart assigned just for you.

If your taken away, then that part becomes empty.

It's like that scene was meant for you all a long.

Years have gone by,

hearts have been hurt,

love has dwindled.

Throughout those precious years,

I found you.

the one who stands by my side,

through thick and thin,

through tears and smiles,

lifted and broken.

You were always the person i look to for help.

Always the one I knew I could count on.

Now as I have grown,

I realized a lot.

We made it through love and death.

All of those memories,

happy and sad,

made us stronger and closer.

It made me believe that we won't end.

If you take the time please realize a few things.

What we've been through,

how we got through those special and horrible moments.

I now see the world trough your eyes.

I used to see through black and white,

now i see in reds, yellows, and blues.

The colors life started at,

began with you and me.

This story won't end,

for you and I will never fall through.

We're strong enough to hold together,

through anything that may come our way.

help me just a little, the third line. i didnt want to used place again so i tried scene. do you think it works? any other word that would seem better there?
