Under the same sky IA Poem by LadySoDivineThis is the first part of a poem I wrote a few years back. It's about an unfulfilled love. The first part is from the females' point of view.
Once upon a time, it was before five years
And the weeping night sky was trying to hide my tears. You said that you were leaving, but how could you not see? That my heart and soul were dying because I wanted you to stay with me. And I knew what with you came first. But I knew that our love couldn't just die. And despite your arrogance and blood-thirst, I still wanted to try. So I said: "You can say that you hate me, you can say that you don't care. But I will spend the rest of my life wishing you were there. And I won't let you throw away your life for something that is in the past. Because of a fading memory... and the hate that your pride wanted you to cast. But I just want to know... Why are you pushing me away? Why are your lips saying words I know you don't want to say? I know that you were never warm or kind and you never wanted love or a comforting embrace. Though your coldness will wound me for a while, even with my tear stained face, I can't help but smile. And no matter what you say or do, just wait and see. That someday I will find you and bring you back home to me. Because as long as we're under the same sky, There will always be a 'you and I'. "
