Tangled Mess I WeaveA Poem by JupiterYour love is just like a flame right on time to light my cigarette but instead I sneeze and the flame is lost by the slightest breeze oh what a tangled mess we weave I love you, yes, and it is clear you love me but it seems a loving family is not what we were meant to be But it's no ones fault, no, you are not to blame but I see your finger pointing at me and your glare... that stare... it's unmistakable You say you need me there but there is not where I belong but instead of telling you I'll write you a s****y song You're quite lovely you're smart, you're funny you've got the most beautiful blue eyes that I've ever seen but you and I, babe, we're just not meant to be I hate to be the person making you cry to feel so much hurt, so much pain I wish I could take it away wash it all out in the rain But no one gives you sympathy when you've caused the misery even if it kills me to watch you cry Why, oh, why? You say. Why can't you say goodbye? Oh, honey, it's not like I haven't tried I've started that line over a million times But why? you ask. Why can't you just try? Couldn't you try just one last time? I tell you that your love is just like a dinner with always the best desserts but I am full up on love and your love is more than I coud ever deserve So pack up your bags, darling and move on from me don't get caught up in the tangled mess I weave
