Speed of Light

Speed of Light

A Poem by Suhas Gotla
"

On the great infinite, or the illusion of it. Time, space, existence, perspective, etc. Is it not ironic that infinity is portrayed by closed loops?

"

There are no parallel lines,
Only boundaries.

The air glitters, catching far away light,
Reflecting infinitesimal beacons into infinite darkness,
A call to existence of any kind.
An easy tension oscillates through space,
In waves, a motion that the seas borrow.
A simple dance of small things,
More than mere alignment,
A cycle of disarray and momentary harmony.
There are no parallel lines,
Only boundaries of time.
