On the Brink Of Defeat

A Poem by exotic beauty

When you're feeling down

And you can hear nothing over the noise and the sound

And you're starting to give in

You think you'll never win

Know that there is hope

For now, you'll have to cope

At the end of the tunnel there is light

To reach there you can't give up without a fight

When the walls are caving in

Know that if you keep fighting you'll win

When you are drowning in sinking sand

If you persevere you'll find land

You may be in a tight spot

And temporarily, you might be caught

But, you'll get out

That's what life is all about

The journey not the destination

So let hope be your motivation

Whatever you're going through, one day it'll end

I don't know when

But, I know this won't last forever

It'll make you stronger

Life is a difficult path

Full of obstacles, thorns, and wrath

So to succeed you must be brave

For there is light in a cave

Keep going and persevere

Have no fears

You'll get through it

So don't throw a fit

This isn't a dead end

It's just begun

This poem is dedicated to anyone who is in a tight spot and are on the brink of giving up and think it's over. I'm here to tell you it's not over yet. Keep fighting. Don't worry whatever you're going through it won't last forever.You'll be rewarded in the end if you keep pushing forward. Right now you may think the walls are caving in on you but if you have faith you'll find a way out. Don't give up.
