When I was low, You lifted me high

When I was low, You lifted me high

A Poem by exotic beauty

I am a flower quickly fading
A fish struggling in the water, wading
A wave tossed in the ocean, the dark night in the sky
I was bent low but now I'm standing high
Not because of what I've done
But because of what you've done
And because of who you are
You are the rise of the sun
You are the engine of my car
Now, it doesn't seem right
To give up without a fight
To turn a blind eye
To say goodbye
Your love never fails, gives in, or finishes
It never runs out, always works out, never diminishes
In death, In life, I'm confident
Everything else is irrelevant
I was failing in life
But, you taught me not to give up without a fight
I'm a day and gone tomorrow
Full of pain and sorrow
Now I don't ever have to be afraid
For, this one thing remains
Your love never fails, gives in, or finishes
It never runs out, always works out, never diminishes
When I was low you raised me high
Now, I'm a bird in the sky
Now, there is hope for me yet
Because you won't forget
All the plans made for me
Now, I'll just have to wait and see
