Awakening

Awakening

A Poem by Betta
"

Opening my eyes.

"
The stars twinkle lastly,
Lost in the first beams of sunlight.
Beauty beholden as fasting,
Costly to the one hastening to it.
Eyes close to the masting of the ship
It booms its rigging for the long sail
Eyes moonward to the stars around it
All aboard and all be damned if we fail!
