Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by Beth Wilcox
"

I love you.

"

Take my hand in the meantime,

Let's walk in the sunshine.

Wipe away my tears,

Pull me from drowning in my fears.

Don't go,

We can walk along the rainbow.

Kiss me in the rain,

Kiss away all the pain.

Hold my hand through all the thunder,

Hold on tightly, I'll never make you wonder.

I'll cover your eyes when there's lightening,

Baby, I know it's quite frightening.

I'll be there for Winter too,

only because I love you.

I like how you mention the seasons passing and love ever-strong. You're right. Love can withstand winter and lightning. This poem expresses love well.

This short poem conveys raw beautiful emotion. Wish it was longer (why are all the great things too short?). Good read

This reminds me of a song I've heard somewhere... Very nice, I like the way you organized it. Nice flow and imagery, overall very good!
