Collide

Collide

A Poem by Beth Wilcox

Two dreams collided; I was left standing here with you.

Forever won't ever be enough for me

for me to feel like I have spent enough time with you.

My heart; you're the key.

This whole feeling, to me, it's new.

Forget the world now it's just us.

You and me we're in this love-rush.

Running so fast , hand in hand, nothing could get better, this is where I am.

Something about your face makes my worries fade away, so I don't give a damn.

Two dreams collided; I fell in love with you.

Holding you tightly, doesn't ever make you seem close enough.

You kiss me, making my breathing uneasy; short.

Heart beating rapidly, to fall in love; you gotta be tough.

Spending forever with you, will be my last resort.
