Me and Bradley walked down the cool and quiet stairs of his dorm.
Bradley took about 5 minutes, actually caring enough when he came out his room since he lightly knocked on his own door so he wouldn't break my back when he could suddenly open the door. He wore jeans and trainers and a grey hoodie, the hoodie had a cool and artistic logo on the front of some sort of green dragon. He left his hair down to "air" dry from his shower. So, we just set off for a mini adventure. The cool air crackled at me, covering me in a little tornado of crisp cold air. I just grabbed my arms and my teeth started to chatter. My top was not the best of my wardrobe, however, I just rushed in and rushed out, being picky of what to wear, and this top was the only one I favoured. "You're cold." Bradley pointed out. I just looked at him, his flashy blue eyes glinted in the moonlight. I nodded. The forest smells came rushing at me, the wind kicking up dust and teeny tiny particles that could temporarily blind me. Suddenly, Bradley stripped off his hoodie. The t-shirt underneath was long and black. He looked comfortable. "Here," He faced me, having the hoodie over my head, he was waiting for my arms to raise. I raised my arms, he felt okay snuffling his comfy and warm hoodie on me. I felt awkward, and my fathers necklace felt cold against my collar bone. As the warmth flooded through me, Bradley turned to walk. "Thank you." I didn't know what to say. I didn't know Bradley could be this kind, especially to me. My head felt fuzy and my skin felt warm. We headed for a slow walk towards the Cafe. He had his hands tucked in his pockets, his eyes mostly closed. I was hyper aware if I was causing this. Then we diverted our route behind the Cafe, the light from the Cafe provided some help for our feet. I heard talking away from the corner of the Cafe, Bradley seemed to hear it too. However, his path was aiming for the little forest path that was clearly seeable. "Come close to me," Bradley whispered. I didn't know whether he was talking to me or not, but I came close to his side, my left side brushing against his. We came to the corner. There was 2 boys, no... three...? They were just leaning against the wall, so their bodies were hard to see. They all appeared. Six boys started to stare at me and Bardley. They where to our right, so I was hardly noticed. The boys all looked older than us, and clearly smoking, we were all behind the Cafe now so anything could happen. There was a backdoor though, unfortuneately covered in graffiti. "Hey," A boy called out with spikey black hair, he was holding a longer and yet wider cigarette. "What are you doing, shithead?" Bradley didn't take notice and slowly moved on, he didn't even look at them. I however, stopped, just looking at them. Bradley kept walking, I rushed to him, one boy started to move in a blur. "Hey you." A larger boy with short milky white hair came in front of me, stopping me, and blocking me from Bradley. I felt like having a heart attack, scared and full of nerves I felt like crying right there and then! "You aren't as pretty as the girls in my year, but you'll be good for someth--" "Touch her," Bradley moved faster. He was in front of me in an instant, his back to me. I exhaled beautifully, never been so happy to have Bradley near me. My chest suddenly hurt, and I just smiled like an idiot. "And I'll kick you bloody a*s." He said the last bit in a snarl. The boys laughed. "And you're what, 12?!" They burst out laughing. All the boys started to gather around Bradley, I pushed against him, so close, yet he pushed me far away. I almost hit the dirt if not for the Cafe wall. "Stay there!" Bradley shouted at me. The boys started to pounce on him. I wanted someone to help, but I knew Bradley would be in trouble as well. My throat felt like closing and breaking. My chest throbbing and head killing. My fingers were tingling so I held them close to my chest as Bradley punched every single of them boys. I gasped. One was missing. Arms harshly encircled me. Not the type that had my stomache riddled with butterfies, but the type that made me feel scared and deep down, in danger. "I told you you are good for something," The boy's white hair fell on my face as his cheek rubbed against mine. I held my breath, he stunk of smoke and other chemicals I couldn't really take in. The boys hand was sneakily roaming my sides, I felt like hurling. I tried to stretch out of his grip, but his arm around me really didn't help. He was reaching for my chest! I swung my head from side to side, keeping quiet. I knew Bradley wouldn't help me, also, he was in enough trouble as it is. I swung so hard I felt dizzy, and enough to knock him down. Yet, he fell down on me. He was a large boy, so I couldn't move. The boy's face came closer to me. I was breathing heavily, inhaling and exhaling with fright and hysteria. "Be quiet and don't do anything funny." The boy's husky laugh riddled me. His face so close to mine I was literally eating his breath! "Your boyfriend won't help you now." He laughed bitter, I felt a single tear slid down my face, my eyes watering. The moon high in the sky, but the boys big head blocked it. I felt my body go numb.... I whispered... I cried more. I whispered so quiet that the boy couldn't hear... "Brad...Ley..." "Jade!!!!" Bradley's voice felt like an earthquake to my body as he screamed my name. © 2011 WritersSoulAuthor's Note
