Just one big dream ...A Poem by bethany cullenJust One big dream.....
You picked me up an hour late, You had jeans on and looked a state. You forgot how to be sweet, You made me walk home through the snow and sleet.
You gave me a hug, But looked at me like I was a common thug. I bought dinner and I paid the bill, You sat silent, stiff and still.
We walked past a little stream, I looked at my reflection and wished the horrid date was just a dream...
You picked me up at 6 o'clock In your red chevy from round the block. You were a real gentleman, You helped me in and caressed my hand.
You had a rose, just for me, You said I made you so free. You bought me dinner and paid the bill, You said I was your favourite girl!
You kissed me good night and said I was 'reem' But It didn't matter because it was all.. Just one one big dream... © 2012 bethany cullen |
