The easy way out.....

BULLIES , all of them.

 

How can i bare to look apon my own face,

When i was cast as a stranger in the horrid place.

I am teased and taunted the spotty faced creature,

Don't i have even one nice feature ?

 

Darkness stares my deep in the face,

merciless to beat me in the race.

I am the monster risen from hell

To everyone I  seem to repel!

 

Why are they like that?So mean and cruel,

Why must the playground they so harshly rule?

Where is the sympathy they never found?

I sweat deeply and my heart will pound.

 

I press the blade on my skin,

Pain rising deep within.

I'll just give-up and pout,

Take the easy way out...

hey bethany, you should consider putting an author's note on this. sometimes people shy away from a piece like this they are not sure how to handle it or what to say. it is a shame because this is a well written poem.
