You're not as good as me

You're not as good as me

A Poem by bethany cullen

You're not as good as me.

There you go, walk down the hall,
Making my skin start to crawl.
Your hair so perfect, teeth so white,
How am I supposed to put up a fight?

Your clothes in style, shoes so cool,
You name know well around our school.
Every guys falls for you,
Especially the guy I don't want to.

Your smile, your wave so sexy and slick,
You make me want to scream and kick.
So beautiful it's hard to breath
But I tell myself you're not as good as me!

However he would be to differ,
Because everyone knows you are better,
But once he thought I was the best,
Now I am plain and simple like all the rest.

You both so happy, you laugh and smile,
To me it looks disgusting and vile.
You made my world black and grey,
And all you gave me was jealousy...

This was nice... fresh and peppy, it was a nice break from the deep, philosophical write I usually read... I must say your rhyming prowess is quite impressive( even though I don't use rhymes in my poem anymore) ...all of them fit in perfectly except the last two lines I think... This was a good write.. I enjoyed it :)
