Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by J.P.

Trees stand at attention in the breathless darkness.
Crickets sing songs of solitude.
The world is wiped clean.
Artists at the ready, their minds breathing heavy.
Daylight beckons...
Sunrise sparkles upon the summer poets,
as the travelers of the sun scatter all along the breaking dawn.
