Brown and WhiteA Poem by Bethany_SavyObservations after a nature walkBethany Savarese White is pure life With an angelic chorus sound With a soft feel A radiant light Breath in the air Chilling winds on your skin Children running to school Sparse clouds floating away in hopes of a better tomorrow Brown is dead with a crunching
sound with a crumbling
feel. A darkness within. Representing
something that had life that doesn't now. Grass, leaves,
branches, all dead Left lifeless and
unwanted. A pile of dirt of thrown away hopes
and dreams pushed away by the
harsh winds. Two colors of nature, fighting for a chance. One to make things better, The other for a life. Neither one is in the wrong. They want to live in harmony but you cannot have both brown and white. Only one will continue on. © 2013 Bethany_Savy |
