Androgynous Spirit

Androgynous Spirit

A Poem by LE Berry
"

Gender identity and spiritual evolution

"

Identity lost while found

taught to be

tearing judgment touching cold

silence stays pain

force found common ground

creations face met

life path time passages

reach hearts truthful

spirit androgynous beyond acceptance.

So many strong messages in this piece - 'Identity lost while found' such a lovely meeting of one's self with their true self, having removed the false sense that they have been 'taught to be'. It is ad to think how many people this affects from such young ages. I thought this was very clever, I enjoyed reading this.

A progressional and emotive description of the struggle in society and in spirit to reach one's true sexual identity/persona.

genius expression jung!
Your poem makes me think back over the 60-odd years of my life, starting when only little girls played with dolls & only little boys played with guns. I never realized how entrenched everyone was in gender identity. It's refreshing to see so much fluidity in how people express gender. I've always felt everyone has masculine/feminine spectrum of tendencies. Your poem feels like a swimmer going from dark ocean depths with tremendous pressure, swimming upwards toward the surface, toward the light, your message feels like it's irresistibly bobbing up to a place of less judgment (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
