Did I Dream

Inspired by Buddhism, this poem explores the space of active creation found within dreams.

Stars glisten reflecting shining eyes which perceive within sculpted sockets.

Oceans meet broken rock and shell becoming soft sand shore in gentle action.

Roots spring forth from seed moving in silent slow motion while I was sleeping.

Hearts ending and beating begun in every space between lead to that of spirit.

In the best of moments I wonder when  I ever did dream of this magic called life.

Perhaps somewhere in darkness leading to light far beyond that of once or twice.
