Tree of Lifes ReflectionA Poem by LE BerryThe seasonal cycle of a deciduous tree compared to a human lifetimeIn hearts mind how I would rather be, that of deciduous than conifer tree. That of forever green not truth of existence, for changing bough and branch is living. Child begun as delicate buds of spring, summer with leaves of shaded wood, displaying growing strength of adulthood. Colors of autumn showing wisdom, where glorious aging is understood, as knowledge of life coming to fruition. In winters time tapered limbs remind, of bare bones, fragile and resilient. As we gaze upon this tree death is illusion, known and seen, not gone but asleep, resting as in peace, waking with warming sun. © 2018 LE BerryAuthor's Note
