Regert

asking someone for forgiveness

 

I know am asking a lot

In wanting your forgiveness

But the demon of the night haunts me

It fills my conscious with sinful deeds

It torments me day in and day out.

 

I’m sorry for your loss

And the pain I have cost

I regret the day it happened

The memory clouds my mind

The pain fills my heart

I can’t take back the time nor day

I can’t take back the sea of hurt.

 

I wish that I could go back in time

And remove that darken night

It started of a minner fight

Then increase to a heated battle.

 

The darkness covers my eyes,

Scattered my thoughts

It chased away the feeling I had,

Made my heart cold as stone

I don’t remember how it happened

Neither do I remember when.

 

I’m sorry for the loss of your son

I’m sorry for the pain I’ve cost

I know I’m asking a lot when I say.
