Olde Tymes

Olde Tymes

A Poem by BetanuZwei

In tymes grater than those you doth live
I had but two items
Love and poetrie.
I may have dreamed the first
thine arms around my waste
thine lips that resteth on mine.

But lo, the second, paper
'neath my pen and thine letters
however fictional, resteth on my tabletopp
whilst I write our storie
lovers 'neath the starry skie.

Till he came, took it from me,
my lovers poetrie
and stabbed his pen
through my desperate heart.
In grater tymes.

Please please please forgive the mock Old English. I have not studied archaic spelling/structure, this was just an experiment.
