Rainbow

Rainbow

A Poem by BetanuZwei

Red is hot,

your temper not the sex.

But still, it was good.

Orange is the juice,

you used to buy it just

for breakfast in bed.

Yellow is sunshine,

and the lazy days at the park.

God I miss them.

Green is envy,

of your muscle-bound body,

amongst other things.

Blue is water,

diving into the pool

every morning.

Indigo Girls,

you took me to see them.

Just once or twice.

Violet is sorry,

for everything I did and said.

Please come home, I love you.
