You're the one who left me halfway
I can't be sure of you
because you can't be certain to me
We can't stand behind the word no
We don't love after the word yes

I don't know how long the slow waves between us will last
We can't be together
But we can't be without us either

Give me one last sharp taste
And let me forget it.
or
let me taste the medicine from your lips

But don't make me crawl through deserts for water I can't reach.
