Father of the Turks

Father of the Turks

A Poem by Beren
"

"Oh the child of the Turkish future! The might you need exists in the noble blood in your veins!"

"
Father; I know, you said don't be a hopeless child!
I don't cry so my hope doesn't leave me with every tear

Father; I know, you said, don't wait for a savior, be the one.
I know I owe you all my rights as a woman.

Father; I know, you said, Peace at home, Peace in the World.
but I can't find the peace for a long time

Father, I fear!
But our Anthem starts with "Fear not!"

And youth won't let you down.

This is POWER! This is FIRE! We don’t fall, we don’t run! Even if fear screams, we scream LOUDER! The world can shake, but we STAND! Hope is our armor, courage is our sword! WE ARE THE SAVIORS! WE WON’T STOP TILL THE END!!!

Even if we are scared to fly and crash to the STORMS in the SKIES, WE DON'T CARE AND SOAR THERE AND SHOW THE WORLD WHO WE ARE!!! Beautiful write with a deep meaning, Beren! And EVERYONE be brave cause FEAR WON'T HELP!!!

Thank you dearr🥹
"Father of the Turks" is a poignant tapestry of hope and determination, woven with threads of doubt and fear, Beren. The conversation between the speaker and their father is a reflection of the internal struggle for identity and purpose. The stanza about hope and the promise not to cry is particularly moving, highlighting the resilience and strength passed down through generations.

The call to action, to be one's own savior and to strive for peace both within and without, is a profound message that resonates with the broader narrative of self-discovery and empowerment. The father's wisdom, though seemingly unshakeable, is met with the speaker's fears and the acknowledgment of their limitations. The final line, "And youth won't let you down," is a beacon of optimism amidst the uncertainty, hinting at the untapped potential of the youth to overcome adversity.

Of course Beren. This is wonderful poem!

Great poem, thanks for sharing dear Beren. Hugs xx

I don't believe there is such a thing as "noble" blood. There's just blood and we all bleed red. As for nobility; that comes from being honorable, trustworthy, kind, compassionate, courteous and humble. It may sometimes require one to be brave but it always compels one to duty and service to one's fellow man. There is good and evil in every creed and nation on the earth and in every child born upon it. Governments would pronounce the differences which define our enemies while individuals seek commonality that pronounces our humanity as a species. Governments make wars but people make friends. Anytime you hear anyone lump others together by ANY description I can promise you that what you are hearing is nothing but the lies of propaganda and it is as easily proven as our DNA or fingerprints since we are individuals and not all the same. National pride is a good thing I think. We called it patriotism but today it's called nationalism, same thing. But it doesn't matter where you come from, you can still be a decent human being or a loathsome scoundrel. Old, young, black, white, brown, pink or yellow. Doesn't matter. Good and evil in all. Men and women. But we should want the good and try to be part of it and perpetrators of it among our fellow creatures. The only rights anyone should ever be concerned about are human rights because those are the same for all. All else is division. If you're human, you are entitled to human rights. Your religion doesn't matter or your political leanings, just the fact that you're a human being and deserving of dignity and respect. Fear never does any good for anyone. But moving ahead in spite of our fear, that takes courage. That takes dignity and integrity. That is truly a "noble" thing to do. I enjoyed the read.

"Fear not." In some situations, the perfect phrase in other situations, easy for someone else to say. Nicely crafted
