overshare's overdose

I am explaining here the damage that my oversharing has done to me. Because that is what real oversharers do.

I'm overnice to the people i don't know
I need to work on boundaries.
I overshare in my poems under the name of storytelling
I need balance and maybe listen that Guy's ideas who caused me stop writing
I always take overtime at work and be so hard on myself
I'm over friendly to the most people i dont like
Its hypocrite, I'm sorry.
Didn't do it on purpose

I took the last overdose.
I'm over with overs.
You'll see.

I probably tend to overshare as well, but in the end, I find that many have overshared back to me and somehow friendships can be borne from that. Especially when it is two poets who have understanding and empathy together.
But just like with drugs, even a sharing overdose can be lethal at times.

This is the true for the most part. Like Everett, who also commented, he and I have interesting commons in our lifes and we learned it through poems. Which I have GREAT friends here, cheers to them!

But people act different when a man overshares and when a woman overshares. I am overreacting if I talk about my own life, but man does the poetry...
Even if it's a 19 year girl who writes song lyrics or a 70 year man who writes autobiography.

just being yourself, that's your greatest strength. yeah, we all sometimes do overshare may be, its okay we can cut some slack for ourselves. but yeah to set boundaries may be one way, you never know what is intended and unintended, but if we set it too much then we won't get to know the other person at all. a balance is again is what is the best course.. take care, my friend. nice reading you. thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Oversharing can be fine. I feel like I overshare sometimes as well. But when I did, the more I was seen.. Probably a 2-3 days gap is fine to write. But do you know what you should not overdose? OVERCONFIDENCE.

Just thinking like "I got a badge/trophy/medal/whatever for that, I am the best in the world!" Rather, you say "I will be the best!" Because there is far more ahead, there is more to achieve and learn, you won't be best automatically.

I am not trying to disrespect you. Once I was over confindent in a presentation I forgot what I wanted to say. So, it is a reminder to not be overconfident cause it ruins everything. But oversharing is fine, nobody stops you and share AS MUCH AS YOU WANT.

And you are right about everything you said in this comment. Oversharing might be dangerous on internet which you don’t know who reads, so it’s better to be careful. But for me, i do poetry here and I think it’s normal that I write about my own life! I was just mad about other stuffs because people were being rude to me. But I feel better with your presence, thank you so much❤️

Writing has always been the way I express myself, sometimes I feel I overshare. My pseudonym is nice, but there's always the fear someone sees through it. I guess that's what I signed up for though. Be safe, if you have to restart with a new identity, there's always the option.

Since we grew up IN the social media, i think this is easier for us to overshare with internet, cause we don't have about boundaries that much, we just did what internet told us to do.
