I heard Sylvia's lies

I heard Sylvia's lies

A Poem by Beren

seeing the poems you wrote to other women
 darkened my soul
  but I loved them
there was a piece of you in
a piece I could never reach.

I don't mind if you want to burn them.
Write for them with erasable pens.
But please engrave me on your desk

If you choose to forget me one day
I don't know what I would do with my wrecked soul
who wrecked everything she loved

I know, I have no right to tell you
carve your words into my tombstone
We can both be selfish to hold each other for ourselves
       under those words

I know what i said
that i won't write for you again
 i'm sorry
i think that's a lie you don't want me to keep
I will always crave your words
you will always be my first stop
don't forget that i am the ghost under your bed
I always watch you in the dark

If you
one day
decide to erase me and leave here
I'm not saying this for myself
but Sylvia would want you to stay.
Sylvia lies about everything she says.
I heard her.
 She misses but won't confess
   and she won't come back.

Author's Note

Beren
I write poems in a hurry without knowing where they will end up, and I no longer care about them being as perfect as before. Sorry. I am in hurry in my mind

I feel sometimes hurried unedited are sometimes the best I do that all the time it’s just my way nice to meet another

Yes sometimes, but sometimes resting your poem for a few days and editing again is good too

Ah thank you so much sir! Glad you visited here!
Very emotional piece, and very well spoken. You very much have a way with words and emotion.
