temporary favors

temporary favors

A Poem by Beren

If you wish to be on my left side,
 I'll always be right

If you won't give me temporary favors,
how will I know which wound I need to heal?

I can bear anything but
not the ice which made me accustomed to heat

I can take your pain into me
but not what will come from you

I know you didn't promise me a flower garden
We were born from water lilies in green waters

Tell me how many frogs should I kiss to get to the prince?
While you told me i am the Queen

fickle love hurts the worst...it should just happen, but if too many words, too many promises are spoken then broken.
The Queen will be kissing way too many frogs and the frogs will never find themselves turning into Kings.
This is so cool.
