tsunami

tsunami

A Poem by Beren

I swim in international seas
A voice inside me says don't drown
There's no wave in sight but
There's a buzzing in my ear
Or in my head
Maybe I'm dried in the desert
And I want to drown because I need

If I don't see the red flag on the horizon as blue,
then that's not the right line
Maybe I'm color blind
Maybe red was green from the beginning
Green is red in the last
This ship is very similar to the ones that sank before

Just a tsunami warning in my head
At awake for no reason at all

A sweet poem on personal thoughts,
We all have the right to be frightened, or at least nurse a degree of fear at some point

Thank you so much! I appreciate your thoughts!
Beren, reading Tsunami, I feel the same way at times when I think i've read signals that just weren't there.

You know? I think it's not always us, but sometimes whoever "they" are, just give wrong signals.

I love this writing.
