baby-faced dictator

baby-faced dictator

A Poem by Beren

Baby-faced dictator remembered that he is about to die

But it didn't bring back the lives he took on the gallows

The legs of the throne he did not abandon were broken

Folks didn't even hear a squeak

The baby-faced dictator knows only newborn children will know his name

When 16-year-old mothers start to understand politics

Their children were already orphans

When he married a peasant girl to save his crown

The young girl did not know who killed her child's father

Beware of anyone telling you that this is all for your own good. "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." it takes all kinds in a sick world. fear is a powerful thing - both in perpetrators and victims. seems some can justify anything - no matter how evil and twisted.

An excellent spoof on our dear leader know as the king.... you intentionally and truthfully bring out the worst in him...we are poor victims of his maniacal self, a true narcissist as well...every day is a big surprise... jerking us around like we are stuffed doll morons ...we get it! I fell as if I've been slapped a hundred times....thank you for your strong words and thank you for sharing them!

Ah, stupid dicators who are having baby faces and making the people mad! They do not understand politics and just do random stuff and do not care in situations.

The line "The baby-faced dictator knows only newborn children will know his name " is so funny! It is like he is so bad, newborns know him!

How bad, Dicators! Great work! Funny and a bit relatable, Beren.
