A heartfelt poem that reads raw and breaths pain. Pain is the twin sister of love infact they are conjoined twins. A Janus face if you would. Your poem presents this idea well that in this universe of ballance there can not be one without an equal amount of the other. Love without hate would not be love it would be emotionless. Loved the poem

I enjoyed reading this one, my friend. It points out that no matter how much we may wish it, we can't change the experiences of others or their opinions. But we may encourage or comfort them or even affect those opinions in some way that leads to self-revelation. I believe the greatest and most sure measure of love is sacrifice. I have seen this truth made evident in the raising of my kids over the years and in my marriage. We sacrifice for those we love; our sweat, our blood and tears so the concept of the color of blood and love need not only be mutually exclusive but I believe they are often found in combination of the human experience. Just a great write, here. F.

Maybe you just have to accept you’re not for each other. I actually made up that poem. I didn’t write it through my feelings so I don’t have much thing to say but I’m grateful for your review I really appreciate your writings and I really appreciate your comments. always makes me so happy And thank you for sharing your thoughts. You definitely bright my day.
This reminds me of a song "Maybe I was Boring" for some reason. This one does feel more angry than your other works, is there much difference between love and blood?

I’m literally in shock that was exactly what I’m looking for. I’m thrilled.
And yeah, I think there’s quite difference between love and blood. I think love is more like soft love must be so soft and love should heal the scars. It doesn’t give a new blood and even if you have one, I think it can wrap them up. Love must be healing for my understanding and I hope you can experience that someday in some spring and I hope we can talk about this later.
I’m so grateful for the song again and if you can recommend me some songs like that, I will appreciate it
Thanks for taking time to read comment take care
Berenongur,
Before I took acid for the first time back in 1969, I had spoken to friends and read many accounts of what the trip would be like. The problem was, my trip followed those same roads, the hands on the clock melted, my fingers turned to clay, and Hendrix made the air too thick to breathe... the word "trite" took on a whole new depth of meaning that night. The reality I discovered there was in some way related to altering the glow of God, and all things spiritual, and empty lots without the right bricks to make a mansion, and my poetry more real than my visions. On the other hand, I have danced more than one perhaps into a yes so it could serve as a pilgrimage back to the time of marshmallows with raspberry preserves... a feast for the gods!

I’m thrilled by that and I really impressed the way you talk about this and using my words into your comments makes me feel like I did something right and the way you use this makes me so feel holy right now. I don’t know what to say about acid kind of stuff but even the way you can use this words makes me think there has been a good story. thank you for reading and paying attention and telling your story, and making time for everything I am so grateful about that.
I like the lines "Being in the dark doesn't scare me
if I'm the only one who turn off the lights." ...says the 56 year old almost growed up that sleeps with a night light! 😃
I too sleep nearest the door, but think while I do that any mad axeman come through the window! 😃
No matter how artlike, most relationships are conceptual, sadly.

In my mind at least, limbo is a sad and sorry place to find oneself lost or stuck in .. I have never seen the movie you refer to .. but once had a thing about Doris Day .. but then didn't we all, back in the day .. Neville

let me also leave one of the most popular lines of the movie
"Well that's what we do! We fight! You tell me when I'm being an arrogant son of a b***h, and I tell you when you're being a pain in the a*s! Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. They have like a two-second rebound rate and your back doing the next pain in the a*s thing."
also there were a lot of The Notebook movie metaphors in the 200 poems I used to write but then burned because I associated the person I used to like with me before watching the movie, then I must have been disappointed when I watched the movie, it was strange but definitely a self-fulfilling prophecy.
thank you for reading and caring enough to comment!

I think under the circumstances, you are more than welcome .. Neville
It's a really poignant poem,
Maybe I should learn to write from the depth of the heart like this, instead of composing
The Notebook, I have the movie on my mind, but I haven't watched it,
But soon I will, with my pillow
