It's about managing your life by the words of others. simple.

a stranger on the internet told me he hates me and i've never been online again

stopped eating and sleeping

then sleeping became the only thing i have

one of my friends blocked me for no reason

so i yelled at to her on the hallways

and sold my own rightful story before she left the school

a lover stopped texting me and i cried for days

My circle of friends got angry at me 

for thinking that a stupid teenage boy was the love of my life

a relative called me callous because I didn't cry at a funeral

and thought it would be good gossip material to judge me for months

I didn't even have the strength to explain anything to her, 

so I kept quiet with empty red eyes

They said I was stuck in the past 

because I wanted to go to my father's grave on a random Tuesday

So I've never talked about my father again.

and my therapist said i can't runaway from my family

so i stayed there

I got caught crying in the bathroom and they made me shut

I tried to hold my breath but one sob caused me 5000 insults.

They got mad because I ate

I made myself throw up 12 times in one day

So i stopped eating again

and they said i dont have any self respect

and i believed that

They were more interested in what color I was

My gender and age

Not what I want

or who am i in my heart

Am I only what I look like?

Wow. This is such a deep and passionate perspective of someone who is limited and mistreated. You really give the impression that this person can never do anything right in the eyes of society. In only a few words, you make a whole vision.

There will always be people who are insensitive, thoughtless and have bad behaviors. I do not believe in the concept of good and bad people, but there will always be people who do bad things.

people are a******s. ive been noticing that more and more. and it's reached a point where i now dont care and mainly isolate myself. luckily there's one or two people i can actually turn to.
i hope you find someone like that. not everyone is a monster, there are those who will understand you. but allow youself to be angry. you deserve dignity, happiness and a life.
sorry this re view has turned into a lecture (im a teacher, icant help it!). this was a strong work of confessional poetry. its full of anger and wanting. these things are not pleasurable, but it makes us human and that is worth writing about.

A tree is easily bent and shaped when young and green. It has to grow to become tough and strong, then no force will bend it without breaking it. However it retains the bends of its youth. A most sad and painful poem it rings out with injustice, prejudice, and anger directed at oneself resulting in self punishment for not being strong enough to stand up for oneself. Powerful

Honestly, whatever you've written is so relatable, and at some point in life, you know that you've gone thru this s**t at least once; be it insecurity, or trying to be who you are, its all like a struggle of life and death honestly, when it shouldn't be.
