Exit DiscretionA Poem by Beregond
Bounty bought.
A woman on a mission. A slinking, winking, devious apparition.
There, and then gone.
Make your mark, get it done.
“Seduce” is far too weak a word.
“Attack”
fits better.
Do your thing, the way you do.
Whisper your promises, and I’ll whisper mine.
Devoid of delusion both,
agreement is blessed unspoken.
Our fervent outbursts
will never be
Regretted or retracted or distraught,
And hopefully
never misunderstood.
Pressed for time, retreat. I’ll meet
Your urgent obtuse demands
Whenever called with
such aggression.
Always here to help
Here it comes, and there it goes.
There you are, then gone.
Never felt so happy to be used.
Do your thing, and run.
I’m amused.
