Dark Thoughts

Dark Thoughts

A Poem by Ben Rogers

I wear black every day

So I’m prepared

For when death comes,

I won’t have to leave

A letter of intent,

The only letters that I leave

Are these poems

To say I love you,

From this very moment

Until the end

Reads as a farewell letter, a suicide poem so to speak...it's clever albeit dark.

Sad, but sweet. I like it.
