Lost Star part IA Poem by Benitoo
I'm looking for a lost star
It fell from my necklace The chain snapped and clink! It bounced and rolled away. With my hands in my pockets I walk along rivers searching for it, and pretending to smoke. Because there's something too Depressing about smoking alone. I like it when it rains. My hair sticks to my neck. And the streetlights gaze sadly Down empty streets. Perpendicular waters disrupt each other, murmuring in their sleep. Sometimes I see lights in the river Glowing boat lights, beneath the water. They must be other stars and I'm tempted to dive, but they are not mine nor ever shall.
