A Lonely Explorer

A Lonely Explorer

A Poem by Benitoo

A Lonely Explorer
Paints a Picture
A Circle of Friends
And Burns It

He Raises It High
For No One To See
As He Sails
On a Tear of Darkness

There is something to be said for self exploring. Yes, it's a great fear of a lot of writers to be that lonely explorer. To be the guy that paints the picture that nobody looks at, just for it to burn away over time.

But the art process itself makes you a better person. It helps you grow and mature, even if nobody sees the picture. So, I wouldn't exactly call it a sea of darkness and tears.

But oh, I'm likely reading this wrong. Anyways, it's still well written if but a bit to short.
