Romeo and Juliet, Underneath the BridgeA Poem by benjamminghamsimilar to Danny Dakota and the Wishing well...totally ad libbing... And now that Im done writing its also like Romeo and JulietUnder the Bridge was where he slept In this place, was where he met A girl that made his heart beat fast "What is your name?" the small boy asked. "Juliet," she replied with a smile And then for awhile, they walked for a mile (or so) Romeo, as was the small boy's name Found out that they were much the same They played and laughed and grew together Hoping their time wouldn't end- never, not ever! Under the Bridge, he lay at night Dreaming of her, his love at first sight And then one day he ran away Breaking all the promises he once had made She cried and sobbed, he broke her heart So she went back to the very start At the top of the bridge up high above Where she fell and died in the name of love Romeo came back and couldn't bear to see her dead, his love, so fair So he drowned himself to the very last breath and went to his love, even after death
