Magnetic Field

Intimacy issues thrown into a story.

Any hopeful soul or sanguine wanderer ventures beyond into the magnetic field. Faces enlightened with fascination and eyes set to summit this mountain of increasing appeal they overlook the fair warnings and ignore the distressed signs. Bodies discretely and unknowingly slip into eternal suffering for which is uncharted and terrifying.

With ease they surpass the first barrier, merely a barbed wire fence hewn with years of oppression witnessed by many eyes that set upon it's weary spikes.

Not long after, they come across the second barrier: merely a mote of water no deeper than the run of an average boot. They splash through the shallow puddle and realize that this didn't spark a challenge in the slightest.

Confidence that the task at hand will not be the difficulty expected, my eager wanderers wade further into the magnetic field, venturing deeper into the hazardous territories. First their eyes set upon a magnificent forest which is laced with thick green trees, and oh what a lovely site to set one's eyes upon. Instantly my visitors feel invited and ever so delighted to grace their feet within these immensely dense woods. They are too distracted by beauty to recognize the deadly of this magnetic field. Realization couldn't have been anymore late when it came these sullen adventurers. The sheer impact was enough to keep them away forever, and the current of electromagnetic devastation jolts our same magnetic poles as far away as possible. Not one hopeful soul has passed the third barrier, for they're too the same, yet not the opposite. Never had a chance, not with her destructive stance.

Aside from a few grammatical errors, this is an extremely well written and enjoyable read. It speaks of of the beauty, as well as the hazards that await us when we venture beyond our comfort zones into the wide and often dangerous world around us. It also suggests that to "go where no man has gone before", that we must keep our composure with a peaceful and open stance, rather than a destructive one. Excellent young lady.
