A Poem by Belle O'Tricks the Strange
"

"She walks in beauty..." something something something.

"

Answerless Questions

What can you say

To she who can sing it all

With an effortless lilt

That melts you,

That charms you?

You struggle for words.

Her art and wit

Exciting your mind

As a poet, newly inspired,

But your cleverest schemes

Cannot capture her.

What can you be

To she who walks in beauty,

Who with her starry eyes

Can erase,

Can dissolve

Every dread you carry?

In her company--

Freeing your heart

As a lark taking flight--

Your only wish is that

She finds you worthy.

What can you do

When you meet someone

Who can steal your breath

Without trying?

Without effort

Your mind is hers.

Her spell is yours,

Possessing all of you

As lavender on the hill,

And all you can think is

How grateful you feel.

This captures human emotion quite beautifully. Love is a strange, mysterious, wonderful thing :)

Very well done. Many, many truths here. I especially like the last stanza.....how well written it is!
