Originality?

Originality?

A Poem by Michelle
"

Which thoughts do you come up with completely by yourself, under no influence of anything in your life? None- it is inspiration.

"
Taking Leaves
and Talking birds
Annabelle and Islands
Whispers not heard

Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay,
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
The only thing left in front
I prayed my heart you'd keep
Fragments
That don't belong to me
But what else is poetry?

Then what are you?
But parts of what you've seen
Like stained glass
Pieces molded to create a sheen
Fireworks will shine, Nevermore
Mistreated, Misplaced, Misunderstood
Sunkist cheeks and the long blonde hair
Love Never Did Run Smooth, though it could
Behind Blue Eyes
He's Collecting His Jar Of Hearts
To Lay Me Down On A Bed Of Roses
Ready to just tear me apart
Originality- not solely meaning new
Candy Wrapper bags are my poetry
That which can't belong to me
