a growing boy

   he needs her to conform to

because    he is a

                          nebulous  being

half-hearted attempts

at a philosophical goal

    but to be happy

           content

         comfortable

he needs a little spoon

  to mold around  like wax

eventually

            he will harden

and be allowed to stand       alone

but does he want her to be his  

          muse

       his shape

     his essence
